Maintenance points of injection molding machine safety device

(1) Electrical safety protection device

The front door and rear door of the injection molding machine are equipped with limit switches for protection. At the beginning of injection molding, first close the front and rear safety doors. Generally, the rear safety door is closed for a long time, and the front safety door is equipped with two limit switches for interlocking. Only after closing the rear safety door, press the front limit switch of the front safety door, and release the rear limit switch of the front safety door, the injection molding can start. Daily inspection and maintenance should be carried out by injection molding workers and specialized repair personnel, and regular safety inspection and maintenance should be carried out by mechanic personnel. The maintenance points are as follows:

1) Whether the front and rear safety door pulleys are normal, whether there is a derailment, whether the pulleys have fallen, etc.

2) Whether the front and rear safety door pulleys are flexible, whether the spacing is reasonable, and whether the bearings are in good condition.

3) Whether the safety door frame has crack welding, falling off, and whether it is damaged.

4) Check whether the safety door bracket is firm, whether the screws are loose, whether the guard is damaged, etc.

5) Whether the safety limit switch is reliable, and whether there are any faults such as looseness, disconnection, short circuit or open circuit. When replacing the limit switch, pay special attention to the different wiring methods of the limit switches before and after the safety door. The front limit is pressed to contact, and the rear limit is released to connect. Injection molding work can only be carried out after the safety door has been securely closed.

(2) Mechanical safety protection device

The mechanical device for the safety protection of the injection molding machine is a mechanical fuse installed above the safety door. The maintenance points are as follows:

1) Whether the bottom of the mechanical fuse is firm, whether there is desoldering or loosening, etc.

2) Whether the mechanical bumper is loose and the fixing frame is firm.

3) Whether the safety stop is flexible, reliable and firm.

4) Whether the length interval of the bumper is reasonable, the interval is generally determined according to the injection molded product, such as the injection molded box product, the interval is 120mm.

5) Whether the rear section of the insurance cover is in good condition and whether it is damaged or not.
