Will excessive injection pressure and speed cause deformation of the internal parts of the injection machine?

Excessive injection pressure and speed may indeed cause deformation of internal parts of the injection machine, and even permanent damage. During the injection process, the injection machine rapidly injects molten plastic into the mold through high pressure, which requires precise control to ensure the quality of the product and the normal operation of the equipment. However, if the injection pressure and speed exceed the designed load-bearing range of the machine, it may have adverse effects on multiple key components of the injection machine.
Firstly, when the injection pressure is too high, the screw, injection system, and mold of the injection machine may be subjected to excessive pressure. If the pressure is too high, the screw and nozzle may experience excessive wear, even leading to cracks and deformation. The sealing components and connecting parts of the nozzle may also be damaged, as high pressure may cause leakage or cause the sealing ring to fail. In addition, if the mold is subjected to excessive injection pressure, it can cause deformation of the mold cavity or uneven pressure distribution, thereby affecting the dimensional accuracy and appearance of the parts.
When the injection speed is too high, the fluidity of the molten plastic may also be too fast, causing some areas in the mold to not be filled in time, resulting in incomplete filling or the appearance of bubbles and voids. In addition, during high-speed injection, the impact force of molten plastic inside the mold will also increase, which may cause cracks or local damage to the mold surface. Excessive injection speed may also lead to insufficient lubrication of the injection system, increasing friction and wear, thereby exacerbating the deformation of mechanical components.
